Staying at Tamani Villas gives you the unique opportunity to give back to the local community by supporting Tamani Foundation school, which is a non-profit providing free and high quality education to the local village of Matemwe. During your stay you can visit the school.

Neighbourhood information

Matemwe is a much quieter and conservative village compared to neighboring Kiwengwa and Nungwi. Ideal for those seeking a great beach to relax on, Matemwe Village is a great choice. Take a stroll on the beach and through the village to see the local schools and perhaps even some local cooking! Note that Tamani Villas is strictly a non-alcoholic site BECAUSE WE RESPECT THE CULTURE AND CARE ABOUT YOU, but in case of emergency, there are hotels nearby. Restaurant available on site
