Looking for nature and adventure? Then Bjurholm - the smallest municipality in Sweden - is the perfect place for you! Our beautiful holiday home is located in the heart of the Swedish wilderness, with amenities relatively close by. Just a 5km drive away, you'll find a ski resort (Agnäsbacken) with 7km of trails for cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, and snowboarding. Europe's only Moose Farm is reachable within 20 minutes / 25km. The student city of Umeå, which has an airport, is just an hour's drive away. This cozy holiday home with a spacious garden (1600m²), a small front terrace, and a fire pit in the backyard is nestled in the stunning nature of northern Sweden. The house is fully available, along with a large storage space in one of the outbuildings. The accommodation is suitable for a maximum of 3 adults or 2 adults with 2 children.
Even though we live in the Netherlands, Sweden in general and Bjurholm in particular have remained close to our hearts. Not only because we see our family and friends there with every visit, but also because of the beautiful surroundings that have so much to offer in both summer and winter. We hope that more people will come here to enjoy it! Hörnäs, Västerbotten County, Sweden The typical Swedish hamlet of Hörnäs is located in the beautiful forested nature of northern Sweden. The nearest (small) supermarket is a 10-minute drive away, and just 5km away, you'll find a ski resort (Agnäsbacken) with 7km of trails for cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, and snowboarding. Europe's only Moose Farm - Älgens Hus in Balsjö - can be reached within 20 minutes / 25km. The student city of Umeå - with an airport, offering connections to Stockholm and Helsinki, among others - is an hour's drive away (60km). An hour's drive from Umeå Airport, with connections to and from Stockholm and Helsinki. Follow route AC512 towards Gräsmyr and Hörnsjö, or take the route via the E4 to Nordmaling and then road 353 towards Bjurholm. There is ample and free parking available on-site.
