Located at the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains, in the center of the Brasov – Sibiu – Sighisoara triangle, the guesthouses Cincsor/Kleinschenk offer authenticity, relaxation, nature and culture and the possibility to explore the surrounding areas and local lifestyle. The Former Evangelical School, together with the Former Parish House and the Fortified Church in Cincsor, form a historic ensemble that is typical for the former Transylvanian Saxon villages. The church, school, parish house and community represent the core of spirituality and Saxon culture.
She is a Saxon lady from the village, he is German born. A few years ago they decided to restore and transform what was once the jewel of the Saxon community into not only a charming guesthouse but a good practice model for sustainable rural tourism in Romania. ‘We want to offer our guests an authentic experience. We want them to experience rural Transylvanian at its best!’
With a view of the Fagaras Mountains, surrounded by hills and located in a natural reservation (Natura 2000), Cincsor is one of those beautiful, idyllic countryside destination that you can only find in Transylvania. Weahter you can go for a walk in the woods, or you climb the hills or even cycle the less traveled roads, the beauty of the wonderful Transylvanian landscape is always with you.
