Hi, I'm Rob and with my wife Sadie and the star of the show, my daughter Sienna, we welcome you to our Casa Sienna page on this booking website.
After my wife, Sadie, had been coming to Burgau since she was little, we decided to head back when we welcomed our daughter into the world for our first relaxing family holiday.
Each and every year since, we came back and dreamed of one day owning a place out here for us and others to enjoy.
When we were in the fortunate position to make that dream come true, we grabbed it with both hands and Casa Sienna was born.
We're normal people, with normal lives, but are lucky to have a place to share with people in an extraordinary part of the world, Burgau.
I'll always be on the end of the phone or email if you need anything, but will give you the details of the Property Manager who lives locally for any issues that may arise during your stay.
Burgau is a charming Portuguese fishing village.
As you head down towards the beach at Burgau the streets become cobbled and you soon find yourself among the jumble of whitewashed fishermen's cottages that make up the old village. You'll know when you are almost on the beach as you will find little fishing boats pulled up, lining the steeply sloped streets which double as slipways and a harbour.
The beach at Burgau is a pleasantly wide stretch of golden sand with cliffs rising up at either end with a fantastic beach bar to relax with cold drink and breathtaking scenery.
Fantastic restaurants and local shops, including 2 mini markets and wine shop can be found on your doorstep. Larger towns are just a 5-10min drive in Luz and Lagos.
At Casa Sienna we have 2 car parking spaces in the underground car park of the development. Space No. 6 is the main large car parking space. You also have use of space No. 31 for small cars and motorbikes and bikes.
The bus stop is situated 5mins walk at the centre of the village with access to all the big local towns.
There is also free on-street parking at the apartment.
