Ola & Welcome to Casa Fitz! An updated, remodeled typical house, in a serene environment with ocean and island views in every direction. Come relax on your veranda and sip some Pico Wine. Enjoy the Pico Mountain while lying in bed gazing out your window. Close to natural walking trails and grocery store/cafe. Casa Fitz has a lot of character from patchwork curtains, wine barrel chairs, basalt flooring and open beam torched wood ceilings and A/C. We welcome you and hope you enjoy your stay!

I was very fortunate to have backpacked on my own for 9 months all throughout SE Asia, New Zealand, Australia, Nepal and Hong Kong and love every one of these places. It was the best time of my life. Single mom, woman owned small business owner. Thank you for your support! I do not live on Pico Island but I have a very reliable grounds keeper friend who manages the property for me.
Santa Luzia is a very central village on Pico Island. Down below, Arcos has the most lovely swim hole made out of lava rock and Arcos Cafe is open in the summer time. There is a bus on the main road and a bus stop close to the house. The house is located one road below the main road so it's a short walk to the main road. Renting a car is highly recommended to fully enjoy the entire island. In Madalena, the Super Markets are the following: Continente Compre Bem Solmar In Cais, Sao Roque: Hiper Market Spar
