I come from a very cosmopolitan family and have lived in many countries before. This has opened my view and level of tolerance and made me familiar with the many different cultural customs and expectancies. Which comes in very handy when you have guests from all over the world. I reviewed my experience from having travelled so much in all parts of the worlds in different kind of accommodations and examined what I most liked and missed. Based on that I have created the format and spirit of Casa Eleonora. The name comes from my mother who set the example in being a perfect hostess. Although I have enjoyed spending time in 5* luxury hotels, I also found it quite boring and impersonal after a while. It also often did not match my lifestyle as I am leading a healthy lifestyle and found it hard to find the food I like, the personal space for yoga/meditations, et..... That is why Casa Eleonora is like a place that feels like home away from home. I wanted to keep it small to be able to provide you with a personalized service. Entertaining guests and serving delicious mails has always been one of my passions from the heart . Before having a real b&b my friends referred to my private home as the b&b so when I stopped my professional career in coaching this was a natural step. I promote to travel with a purpose to return fully balanced and relaxed from holidays. We have wellbeing packages that you can choose from to create your own private spa and retreat holiday. First of all, you are very welcome at Casa Eleonora which is my b&b as well as my home. It is my mission to assist you in a very personalized way so you can just concentrate on having a wonderful holiday. Case Eleonora is a very comfortable and bright, modern Algarvian beach style villa with a small but beautiful green garden that feels like a little secluded paradise. To provide you with a maximum of privacy and rest to enjoy our villa we rent out most of the time only 2 rooms (3 in June/September). Every guest has ample space and the ambiance is very zen and peaceful. There is a spacious lounge inside and in the garden you can read and relax or enjoy a good glass of wine, champagne... from our honesty bar. We have a good size pool and there are many different corners to sit and to relax privately in or out of the sun as you prefer. We specialize in wellbeing of the body and the mind and we have our own little private spa or may be you prefer a massage under the palmtrees. We are famous for a very fresh & homemade buffet breakfast combining local food with influences from my own roots. We offer very healthy choices as well as little guilty pleasures, the breakfast is suitable for most diets and preferences. The location is in a quiet neighbourhood away from the noise from downtown Lagos but close by the city center at about a 25 minutes walk and at a 15 minute walk from the beach and the Marina. Taxis to and from city center are very affordable. It is my honour and pleasure to help you make to most out of your holidays. As a seasoned traveler I have experienced the value of good advices from a local person when you go on holidays. Many times (even in the 5* hotels) I have not received reliable or relevant information to enjoy the best places. Casa Eleonora b&b is situated in Lagos. Lagos is a small coastal town and one of the most attractive holiday destinations in the Algarve. It has a rich history and today the glorious history is still visible. Lagos is one of the older cities and was a Moorish city until 13th century. In the 15th century it became famous as it was the center of the discovery travels. You will still find old churches, the old fortified city walls and beautiful old mansions. It has a very laid back and authentic atmosphere. It attracts a typical mix of surfers, hippie chic couples, outdoor fans, digital nomads and families. There are numerous bars and restaurants where you will find the freshest fish but you can just as easily find organic health food or vegan or vegetarian meals. The vast awesome coastline and the stunning nature surrounding Lagos offer many activities and experiences for every season.
