Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Casa das Proteas is located at Estrada das Covas nº8, São Jorge, Madeira Island, 50 km from Funchal. The location is excellent as a starting point for several hikes. It features an outdoor pool with solarium and sun loungers. All rooms have a private bathroom and heating. Some rooms have a kitchenette and sea views. A breakfast buffet is served daily in the bright breakfast room. Guests wishing to explore the island further can request a packed picnic lunch. There are barbecue facilities by the pool.
