Space was well thought out, house was left available to use washroom etc. We just needed a place to rest our heads as we traveled back home. It did the job very well.

Very friendly owners. Authentic stay. Kitchen and bathroom are inside the owners' house, so don't be shy. Friendly dogs and cat (they want to Interact with you, so you have to like animals)

Come and stay in our treehut! It's small (only 4sqm!!!) but warm, cozy and very unique. Enjoy valley views from your 'nest in the tree', gaze at stars in the outdoor bath or have a picnic on the deck or somewhere on the expansive property. Located on a 2 acre lifestyle section with orchard, river access and a semi-private swimming hole. You'll have access to a separate guest lounge with kitchenette and guest bathroom in the main house, right next to the treehut (separate entrance).
Your hosts are Natalie, Tango and Chacha (her two border collies). Natalie is a life and executive coach and family mediator and mostly working from home. Having hosted for many years on other platforms, I'm new to this one, but love meeting people from all walks of life and share many fond memories of conversations by the fire.
We're located only 5 min off SH2 on a 2 acre lifestyle property. We're close to Kaitoke Regional Park (Rivendell), Harcourt Park, Tunnel Gully recreation area with the old railway tunnel to walk through and the Hutt River Trail. Upper Hutt Attractions include Maidstone Maxx, H2O extreme aquatic centre and now Brewtown with restaurants, breweries, an ice skating rink, bowling, go-carting, paint ball and more attractions to come. We're right at the nexus of the Wairarapa Wine area, Wellington and the Kapiti Coast (via Akatarawa Rd) with lots of options for day trips without sitting in traffic.
