The Riverstone is Canterbury's only 5-star motel (awarded by Qualmark - the official NZ tourism quality assurance organisation). All accommodation is ensuite and we are only 20 minutes' drive from Christchurch Airport. Our rooms feature studios, suites and apartments with flat-screen TVs and well-appointed kitchenettes Guests at the The Riverstone can benefit from air-conditioned rooms with double glazed windows. All rooms have a shower and some have also a bath. Facilities include luggage storage and laundry services. The motel also provides rooms for guests with limited mobility. Pets: Only registered 'service animals' are allowed to stay at The Riverstone - other pets are not permitted in the rooms but can stay in the guest's vehicle providing they are not a nuisance to other guests.
Electric vehicle charging - Guests cannot charge their electric/hybrid vehicles at The Riverstone. Our building insurance specifically does not permit this. There is a charging station available at Pak'nSave next door and at the BP service station on Flaxton Road
