This is a studio unit attached to our house, however completely separate. Guests park separately to the main house and entry/exit is completely separate. Guests do not come into contact with ourselves at all. The unit has recently enjoyed an upgrade which included complete sound proofing. Includes an open plan kitchen, lounge and bedroom. The bed is a Queen. The unit has its own laundry and tiled bathroom with shower. This studio unit opens to a private courtyard which faces north and enjoys extensive water views of our inner harbour and city lights at night. TV, Heatpump, and Chromecast. We are situated in a very quiet neighbourhood. We have a jetty at the bottom of the property from where guests are welcome to sit quietly at the waters edge, though lovely white sandy beaches are only 15 minute drive away. Smoking is permitted outside the unit only. We have kayaks available for guests. We are happy to supply a portable cot for a child up to 1 year of age, there will be no over night cost for this. Please advise prior to arrival. Parking is available on site for one vehicle. Thanks Joanne
Tim and Joanne live in the main home (attached). We have lived in this home for 15 years. We just love living in this quiet location, watching the tide come and go, swimming at the bottom of the section, kayaking the harbour and enjoying family and friends. Tim is a building consultant and Joanne sells Real Estate.
The neighbourhood is residential, peaceful and quiet. We have wonderful neighbours who are all very friendly. Just 400m from our home is a little local shopping complex offering an amazing Bakery, Cafe, Takeaways, Pharmacy, Grocery Store, Hairdressers and our local Pub. Then a further 600m down the road is another Takeaway Shop, Grocery Store and Petrol Station. There is a bus stop at the end of our driveway to the left, which will take you in the direction of Mt Maunganui or Papamoa. 40m to the right is another bus stop which will take you in the direction of our city centre. We are located about 15 minutes by car from Tauranga city centre and 20 minutes from the center of Mount Maunganui where there is boutique shops and our well known white beach and surfing. Mall Shopping: 5 minutes by car to Bayfair Shopping Mall and 10 Minutes to The Lakes Shopping Mall.
