Honey Cottage is a modern 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage set on a private lifestyle block in the beautiful Tasman region, close to Tasman village itself.
The cottage is an ideal space, with room for two - four people and includes an open plan fully functional kitchen, dining area and lounge; a master bedroom with a Queen sized bed and good wardrobe storage, a smaller bedroom with bunks, and a bathroom including shower and washing machine. The lounge includes a mixture of digital entertainment including DVDs and television as well as a mixture of books and games for various age groups.
With heating for winter and an outdoor BBQ and seating area, Honey Cottage is a light, roomy space for indoor/outdoor all-season living offering comfort, warmth and a relaxing atmosphere. The house is set up to be a home-from-home with facilities that support longer stays as well as shorter stays.
Set on a lifestyle block overlooking green spaces that include newly planted trees, establishing and large established trees and paddocks; you can sit and listen to the sound of the birds, watch the Australasian Harrier Hawks flying overhead, enjoy the stillness of the day or on a wonderful squally, stormy day you can hear the sound of the sea and taste the salt in the air.
In some areas of the garden we have newly planted trees and plants. At the moment, water tanks are visible from areas of the cottage garden, however, in time these will be blocked out by the plantings. In the meantime, there are other beautiful sights and views to behold from the deck of the cottage.
Lucy and Rod welcome guests to Honey Cottage. Having had a break from hospitality for 5 years we're now enjoying opening our cottage up to people wanting time out and a place to relax and enjoy our local area. We love this area and are enthusiastic about all it has to offer. We are keen outdoor folk, enjoying surf skiing, tramping, beach time, camping, paddle boarding and snorkelling. Rod is a keen multi-sporter. Having taken part in a couple of Coast-to-Coasts he enjoys river kayaking, running, road biking and mountain biking. Lucy is a keen gardener and natural world enthusiast.
We look forward to hosting guests from all corners of the world and we wish you happy travels!
