A 115yr old renovated Villa in the heart of Whanganui. Walk just a few blocks to supermarkets, cafe's and food outlets, or take a 20 minute stroll to the CDB on Victoria Avenue. There's no need for a car with plenty to see and do in such close proximity.
We've recently retuned after living in Queenstown among other cities in NZ & Australia. We love to travel and appreciate the finer things in life. We chose the CBD area for it's simplicity of living and easy walking access to all amenities and major attractions from the new Sergeant Art Gallery, to glass blowing art. We hope you'll love our little town as much as we do.
On the corner of Liverpool & Harrison Streets, these are two "non-thoroughfare" streets in the cities grid layout, so while we're centrally located, traffic is at a minimum, but it is still central, so some is to be expected of course. Just a two block walk takes you to Victoria Avenue, taking a left turn will walk you by major retailers, cafe's and once near the river you'll be close to various genres of art. Continue over the town bridge and up Durie hill either by stairs or elevator to Durie Hill tower for a panoramic vista of Whanganui.
