By renting our Waterfront Studio you will have access to an independent space for 2 people. Located on the ground floor. Everything is clean, sleek and attractive.
Note: our washbasin/toilet area has a headroom of 193 cm.
We have 2 wonderfully comfortable box spring beds, and because we live in a quiet neighboorhood you will be able to sleep well. The 3rd bed via a cast-iron spiral staircase, so here you will sleep at a height of 2 meters, on a double-thick mattress. Due to the height, this bed is not suitable for very small children.
Our house was build in the year 2000 and is located in the Eastern Docklands; a residential area with special architecture and lots of water. This incredibly quiet part of Amsterdam is part of Amsterdam East, a lively multicultural district. We have a lot of bars and restaurants here, I will recommend quite a couple to you when you have arrived.
The city-center is easy and quick to reach by bus, that has a stop right around the corner.
In front of the Studio and across the (quiet) street you'll find a former harbour. The stretch of water right in front of the Studio is popular with swimmers. So don't forget to pack you swim-gear.
Furthermore, there are houseboats, a recreative harbour and lots o9f boats regularly pass by. Also fun to do yourself; Rent a boat and see Amsterdam from the water.

At least long enough to be able to advice you where to go and what to do. I'd rather give you tips to experience Amsterdam in a way locals would like to, than you going around on the beaten path. Ofcourse you should see the canals, the old city, and maybe some museums.
I like to stroll around and know a lot of terraces, good restaurants and nice (neighborhood) bars.
Our house is located in the Eastern Docklands in the Zeeburg district, Amsterdam East. The center and Central Station can be reached in about 10 minutes, but there is so much to do in East! Parks, cinema, lots of terraces and restaurants, nice bars, a market, Javastraat and Czaar Peterstraat.
