Hi there! We, the owners Elio and Maikel, bought our dream canal house in 2021 to start a B&B and completely renovate it over the coming years. We love to travel, discover new vintage and thrift shops and visit fabulous restaurants and (rooftop) bars. This studio is totally private and right next to the famous Skinny Bridge and near Rembrandsquare. It's a very old building dating back to 1672 which has been renovated. Attention for people taller then 182 cm, some beams might be too low for you, something you just have in old canal houses. It's in the heart of the city but quietly enough to enjoy your stay. There's a Queen size bed, which is very comfortable. The bathroom is private. There is a kitchenette where you can't cook. Tea, coffee, toaster and a fridge and dishwasher are there. Multiple supermarkets and places to eat are near. All the sights are on walking distance from here. I'm sure you will have a great time in our Amstel Palace.

This neighborhood is one of the most beautiful in Amsterdam! You overlook the Amstel river, the Skinny Bridge, the Carré theater and the Hermitage museum. It is a fairly quiet neighborhood with the hustle and bustle within easy reach. For example, you can shop in the Utrechtsestraat around the corner, it is a two-minute walk to the Rembrandtplein and the Kalverstraat is a 5-minute walk. Built during the city's Golden Age, the three parallel canals are connected by streets lined with shops, food and drink. The Grachtengordel consists of the Herengracht, Keizersgracht and Prinsengracht, closed by the Amstel river. In a sense, the Grachtengordel is a crossing from the more bustling Center to the softer suburbs of Jordaan, Museumwijk and De Pijp. The Canal Ring encompasses the city's two main entertainment and culture squares. On Leidseplein you will find legendary concert halls such as Paradiso and Melkweg. Rembrandtplein has several bars, two large nightclubs (Escape and Air) and suggestive treasures such as De Kroon and Café Schiller. The entire area is dotted with Amsterdams beloved & brown cafes's in the neighborhood.
