Rose Cottage B&B is located in a quiet suburb of Nes. The apartment is located on the first floor. You have your own sitting room, with luxurious furnishings (flat screen, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, kettle, multiple flavors of coffee and tea, microwave). In the bedroom, with a double bed including bed linen, you have a 2nd flat screen upstairs. the bed. Of course your own bathroom with shower, sink, toilet, bath linen, hairdryer, hair straightener and luxurious Rituals products for him and her. You can charge the batteries of your electric bicycles in a separate room. The bustling center is 500 meters away. From the ferry port it is 1400 meters to the accommodation. If you come on foot or by bike, we can collect your luggage at the ferry (free service). The beautiful Van Nes beach is 2400 meters away. distance. Ameland is a real cycling and walking island, with an extensive network of cycle paths and walking options. There are several bicycle rental companies on the island where you can rent bicycles in advance online, which will be delivered to the boat for free when you arrive. Climb the lighthouse and look out to Terschelling, cycle through the dunes to "De Oerd", a fantastic and unique nature reserve on the very tip of the island, overlooking Schiermonnikoog. Ameland has many small-scale museums that are definitely worth a visit. The cleanest and widest beaches are on Ameland, which are monitored in summer by the "Life guarde". Book a table in one of the beach pavilions and enjoy the most beautiful sunset in the Netherlands during dinner. The center of Nes (500 meters) has excellent restaurants for lunch or dinner. Take a boat trip on the Wadden Sea and spot the seals. Leave your car in Holwerd and enjoy Ameland by bike. Several bicycle rental companies deliver your bicycles to the boat and bring your luggage to our B&B for free. If you come on foot or with your own bicycles, we will collect your luggage from the boat for free.
