Welcome to our vacation home! In 2024, our horse stable was partially converted into a comfortable home with an area of 85m². On the ground floor, there is a living room with a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and a bedroom. The upper floor consists of a spacious bedroom with a magnificent view. The house has central heating, underfloor heating, and 2 air conditioners. Outside, you have a large private garden with a terrace. For electric vehicle users, there is a charging station available. Additionally, there is the opportunity to work on your recovery or personal development with the help of physiotherapy and (horse) coaching.
We are Willem and Carolien, and since the beginning of 2025, we are the proud owners of our very own holiday home. It has become our dream place, where we enjoy peace, nature, and comfort, and we hope to share this feeling with you. Whether you come to fully relax, enjoy the surroundings, or engage in some sports activities, we warmly welcome you.
In a beautiful setting, our cottage is located at the foot of the Lochemse Berg, with a view over meadows and forests. It is close to the Berkel River and just 1 km away from Lochem. With countless and versatile walking and cycling paths nearby, you can easily explore the surroundings. In particular, the Eight Castles Route, the Pieterpad trail, the many cycling junctions, or the most beautiful MTB route of the Achterhoek. Culturally, the area has a lot to offer, such as the Lochem Theater or the open-air theater. Furthermore, events are organized in the area, including performances by Normaal and Eventing Barchem. Also, visit the Hanseatic towns of Zutphen or Deventer, the smaller nearby villages, or the Witte Wieven.
