Hello, My name is Karen and I have just started to host a studio apartment in one of the trendy and peaceful parts of Amsterdam. Amsterdam North once a suburb, is now booming because it is only 10 minutes away from the city centre. I have moved to this area in 2012 from the south side of Amsterdam and to be honest, It was the best decision I have ever made. Next to the water, away from all the noise that city living produces but still so close.

Property information

The studio is located in the hippest area of Amsterdam North close to the NDSM and a few minutes away from the ferry that will take you within a few minutes to Amsterdam Central station/inner city. The area is booming with lots of bars and restaurants and occasionally a festival. You are also close to Eye Amsterdam and the waterfront.The studio has one lounge area with kitchenette and upstairs you will find a comfortable bedroom on a mezzanine. Also you will find a nice terrace on the water with view on the other house boats.

Neighbourhood information

Nowadays, restaurants, bars, cafés and clubs with stunning views over the Amsterdam IJ-lake make the former ship yard of NSDM the perfect area to hang out, eat out, explore and dance the night away. Many of the old buildings that were in use for the making of large ships are still there, housing creative enterprises.
