The accommodations are basic yet comfortable, featuring eco-friendly amenities powered by wind turbines, solar panels, and a diesel generator. Life here is intertwined with the natural surroundings, so be prepared for the occasional challenges that come with living close to nature—rain, wind, insects, and more are all part of the experience. Derek’s Place operates without traditional Wi-Fi, but internet access is available through Claro’s SIM cards, which can be purchased onsite for a small additional fee. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-run, where we strive to make every guest feel welcome and comfortable.
