The property consists of a Venetian stile stone house aged around four centuries. Originally, it was owned by a Captain's family, whose coat-of-arms is still clearly visible at the entrance. History, passed down generation to generation, states that the two captains never came back from their sea travel to native Perast, and their only sister died in solitude waiting vainly. Nowadays the exterior of the houses jealously preserve their original appearance, while the interior has been modernized to meet the needs of our family, and of course, our guests. However, the stones , the paintings representing Venetian era Vessels and many more details still give a unique feeling of being in the era of the rise of Perast, which at its peak in the 18th century under the Venetian Republic, had four active shipyards, a fleet of around one hundred ships, and over 1600 residents.

We're passionate about our House, and we like having the chance to share at least partly our passion with our guests. Some of the hobbies we have : painting local landscapes , creating wooden fishes from unused palm pieces..

Although Perast is a little old town, there's a lot you can see and do: Visit the Perast Museum, have a look to the Bay from the highest Tower in the southern Adriatic Sea (connected to St. Nicholas Curch), have a boat trip (1 minute away) to the islands of St. George and Our Lady of the rocks (the only artificial island in the Adriatic sea) which has the largest ex-voto (offerings to a saint) silver collection in the world , rent a canoe and have a look to the area from a different perspective. Moreover, there are two public beaches at the ends of Perast, where you can refresh yourself, several piers when you can have a bath as well. The restaurants and cafes offers varies from local food up to Mediterranean delicatessens, such as sea foods.
