"Forest Arjola" is a peaceful nature retreat located in the heart of Aukštaitija National Park, surrounded by pine and spruce trees near Lake Žeimenys. This secluded forest glade offers three cozy panoramic cabins with large windows facing the forest – ideal for couples or small families who value privacy and natural beauty.
Guests have access to a private sauna, outdoor hot tub, spacious terrace, and campfire area. Each cabin is equipped with electricity, basic kitchen utensils, and a peaceful atmosphere. A composting toilet and shower are available in the sauna building.
We host only one group at a time – no strangers, no noise. You can relax, pick mushrooms or berries, go fishing, or enjoy a kayak trip on the nearby Žeimena River. The stars above, the forest around, and the silence within – that’s the essence of Miškas Arjola.
👨👩👧👦 About the hosts
Welcome to our forest retreat! We are a family living in the village of Kaltanėnai – nature is not only our home, but also our way of life. Forest Arjola was born out of a wish to share the peace we feel here ourselves. We truly enjoy welcoming guests – every visit brings new stories, smiles, and inspiration.
In our free time, we love to travel, watch birds, gather forest goods, and create together with our children. Mykolas has a great sense of humor, Indrė is passionate about creativity, and our son Haroldas is the builder in the family – he helped construct the cabins and continues to improve everything built in the forest. Together with Jolanta, we are happy to welcome every guest who comes to rest in our woodland haven.
We believe that true luxury is silence, fresh air, and sincere connection.
We’ll welcome you with warmth and an open heart!
