The two-acre property consists of natural vegetation and mangroves and the accommodation has been blended into these surroundings. The beach along the property is truly private where you would not see anyone around for miles and have complete privacy. We have three air-conditioned rooms with attached modern bathrooms having hot and cold water. The bedrooms have private sit outs to relax and enjoy the ambiance of the property. The common areas have sit outs and a dining area. Guests can have the option of dining in the main dining area or of being served their meals to their rooms or even to the beach. Alongside the beach, there is a Jacuzzi where you can relax and watch the waves lapping at the shore. For the adventurous, a kayaking trip can be arranged in the lagoon to view the bird life along the mangroves or just to take in the scenery.

Without talking about me. let me talk about the staff who will look after the guests at Waves. Saliya is our Manager and will assist you with any inquiry you have about your stay or activities you could engage in. Mahesh is his assistant and "man-friday". He is also a good cook. We also have Savindu who is an accomplished cook.

Tangalle is a seaside town on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. The 200 km drive from Colombo takes you around two and a half hours via the southern expressway. Apart from the palm-fringed unspoiled beaches, there are many local attractions around Tangalle such as wildlife sanctuaries and places of historical interest. The Waves can also be reached from Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport which is 45 minutes away.
