“벳푸 7지옥을 다니면서 생각했다. 이 모든게 지옥이라면, 천국은 어디에 있는 걸까? 나는 천국에 갈 수 있을까?.. 그러다가 이 호텔을 발견했고 무심코 예약을 했다. 방안이 들어선 순간.. 오오 스고이 스고이!! 대단해!! 방안에는 산자락이 길게 늘어져서 바다까지 이어진 그림같은 풍경이 파노라마처럼 펼쳐져 있었다. 심지어 테라스에는 노천탕도 설치되어 있었다. 아내가 그렇게 사고싶어했던 프랑스풍의 공주침대도 킹사이즈 이상으로 설치되어 있었고...”
