Kawamotoya was renovated in 2022 and now offers stylish apartments with Breakfast at the cafe are included. All apartments come with their own toilet and shower. Facilities include a modern gym, movie room, massage room, all available in the common area. Kawamotoya has two hot tubs, available for private use. Breakfast is served at Harding's cafe. The hotel offers luggage storage and free WiFi throughout the building. A traditional sotoyu outdoor public bath is located next door, while Lake Hokuryu is a 20-minute drive. From Iiyama Train Station, the hotel is a 25-minute bus ride and then a 5-minute walk.Private parking is at JPY 2000 per vehicle per day. It is located within a 5-minute walk from the village centre and offers private shuttle services to Nagasaka gondola in the winter.
