Kamakura ZEN-JI is a small hostel for individual travelers. The previous owner built this building in the style of a temple, and we asked a well-established builder to remodel and expand it. The scent of wood, high ceilings and peripheral corridor with tatami flooring somehow create the nostalgic feeling of the Showa Era (1926 – 1989). Please have a comfortable stay experiencing the flavors of each season such as the subtle sound of waves from Yuigahama shore and small chirping birds singing in the forest in Gokurakuji Temple behind the hostel.

Nice to meet you! My name is Hide. When being in twenties, I traveled Oceania South America and theft Asia California and stayed in a lot of backpacker hostels. Then it was possible to spend fun time with the owner and the guest. It's remembered for a long time hard even now. The present lifework goes on ZEN and SURFIN. A customer would like to make time which becomes a memory using the former experience. English isn't used a long period, so you can speak only a little, but please take care.

Even Yuigahama beachi is 1 minute on foot. Even Giant butta is 14 minutes on foot. Even Hasetemple is 10 minutes. Even a popular spot is very close. It's convenient at 2 minutes on foot to the convenience shop.
