Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. Please pay in cash or by card upon check-in. Guests under 12 years old are exempt from the lodging tax. Located an 8-minute walk from JR Takayama Station, Guest House Ouka offers accommodation in Takayama. Free WiFi is available in all areas, and guests can enjoy free coffee on the ground floor all day. All rooms at Ouka Guest House have air conditioning and heating. A shared bath room is located on the ground floor. Guests will find a shared kitchen and a shared lounge at the property. The kitchen comes with an induction stove, a fridge, an electric kettle and a microwave. Condiments, utensils, tea and coffee are provided in the kitchen as well. The shared bathrooms are available 15:00-23:00 and 06:00-11:00.
Kindly note that the hallway lights will partially be turned off at 21:00. The lights at the lounge will be turned off at 23:00.
Children can be accommodated only in Japanese-Style Standard Room and Japanese-Style Superior Room.
