The stone-built villa has been recently carefully renovated, respecting the ancient style and reusing, where possible, the old material. A semi detached two floors pictoresque portion of the villa is for rent with: 1 or 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen / kitchenette, bathroom, patio. Air conditioning is available is the bedroom of the apartment with one bedroom and in the 2 single beds bedroom of the apartment with two bedrooms. The park with tall trees, stone oven, BBQ, laundry, hammocks to relax in the shade of the trees and bicycles for exploring the surroundings are supplied free of charge.
The villa is located in the countryside, a short distance from the town of Ceglie, where you can find excellent restaurants and a beautiful old town. Within a distance of 10-15 km you can reach other beautiful towns: Martina Franca, Cisternino, Locorotondo, Ostuni. The sea is about 18 km (Ostuni beaches, blue flag). The characteristic town of Ceglie Messapica is an ancient town: as the name suggests, it dates to the Messapi, who lived in the area even before the Roman culture flourished (one of the walls surrounding the villa dates back to the Messapi). If you are a gourmet, in Ceglie you will enjoy typical flavors of Puglia. Ceglie, by the way, is home to the International School of Cuisine. Immediately after August there is the characteristic feast of St. Rocco, the patron saint of the city, much awaited by all villagers.
