Company information

The villa was used during summer to bring the family together. In 2009 the villa has been renovated and the park extended and reclaimed. There are camellias and azaleas of over 150 years old, chestnut trees and recently an olive grove. Unfortunately, in the 70ties part of the park has been expropriate to build the A9 motorway which broke the enchantment and silence and cause noise; price paid for development and modernity.

Property information

Country villa on the west hills side above Como, built at the beginning of 1800 by noble Milanese family in an existing rural complex 1700 used for silk production. Currently the land is included in the Spina Verde Park of Como. Difficult to reach by foot; the bus n1 stop at 1.5 km and 350 mt high. For hikers the are nice trucks around the property.

Neighbourhood information

The villa is in the hills side , at an altitude of 400 meters directly above Villa Olmo and the lake. The access road is narrow and caution is recommended. Behind the villa there are 10 hectares of wood today part of the Spina Verde Park with paths, cycle paths and interesting historical artifacts from the First World War. The Villa is located in the middle of the Via Cardano that connects the village of Monte Olimpino with San Fermo della Battaglia where one of the wars for Italian independence was fought. The villages are 1.5 km from the villa and there are excellent restaurants and pizzerias.
