Unique, elegant, romantic. Shapes, colors, objects, vision. The "story" of a place, its soul, its "uniqueness". The attention to detail, the meticulous selection of fabrics and precious finishes, the restoration of the furniture and furnishing accessories, have brought this small 50 square meter home in the center of VENOSA, THE CITY OF THE FAMOUS POET, back to its ancient splendor. LATIN "FIFTH ORAZIO FLACCO". Dovizia, Incanto, Compactness and Magnificence are the four attributes that best define the architectural details that have made, and continue to make, the history of a place, the typical Cross vaults made of red bricks resting on mighty stone walls. These are the main components of the VENUSUITE Luxury House & Relax Holiday Home. Upon entering you will realize the soft glow, intimate, romantic, surreal, but also intense and violent at times, which invests you in every corner of the house is for the most part due to this type of combination.
Hi, I'm Giuseppe Cusano, I'm 44 years old and I live in a beautiful Lucanian town, Venosa, which I recommend you visit. I am originally from Molise, another beautiful region, but together with my wife we decided to invest our savings by buying a small house in Venosa, in Basilicata. Why right here, because in my humble opinion Basilicata is one of the regions in Italy where we can find beauty in everything. In food, monuments, nature, music, climate, people .... "CARPE DIEM, QUAM MINIMUM CREDULA POSTERO" ... the verses of Horace echo in the streets of Venosa, the city of Basilicata which in 65 BC. was the birthplace of the famous Roman poet. The remains of the Ancient Roman City lie within walking distance of the town, while, in the narrow streets of Venosa, the visitor can go in search of what tradition considers the home of the famous Latin poet. But Venosa also tells a story of music, passion and death: it is that of Prince Gesualdo da Venosa, composer of madrigals in the seventeenth century, forced to flee the city for having murdered, in a fit of madness, his adulterous wife Maria D ' Avalos and her lover. Then there is the story of the Incompiuta, the 11th century Abbey that was to become “IMMENSE” but today it is only a complex of mysterious walls and a roof of stars. Venosa is a city capable of telling stories, perhaps to be listened to in front of a glass of Aglianico del Vulture, the precious red of Basilicata that is born in these lands. It is for all these reasons that Venosa has become one of the "most beautiful villages in Italy".
