We are Simona and Roberto managing OTTO, we are life companions and work colleagues. Our training, passion and lifestyle is all about photography and travel. We love traveling around the world: we have visited over 50 countries and made more than 150 trips to learn about and photograph different countries and cultures. We like to organize everything to the fullest, and and work to make your stay at OTTO a fantastic and comfortable experience. Simona is an Architect, Roberto is a Photographer and since we love Rome and make it known to our guests, we organize photographic tours in Rome in the most famous places and in those unknown but no less beautiful. Both are qualified tour leaders. They are tours that we lead ourselves to make you discover the city with those who know it, and from a unique point of view: the photographic one. OTTO Rooms is born just like a real cultural incubator: with Il OTTO Gallery brand we promote exhibitions, events, workshops, book presentations, meetings with the Author, all in the spaces that we have specially set up in our structure.

OTTO Rooms & Photogallery is a modern, charming Guest House with b&b treatment, opened in November 2018. Furnishings in a refined minimal style that gives to the whole structure a professional and welcoming style at the same time. Our strength is the real art and photo gallery in all the common areas, with an event room suitable for workshops, meetings with the Author, book presentations and other cultural activities that are always carried out without disturbing the Guests. The structure is equipped with every kind of comfort: personalized air conditioning in each room, fast and dedicated WIFI network, USB sockets in each room, beds with top-range mattresses (professional hotel line), Smart TV 43". You will even find a printer at your disposal for any need while you stay with us, even at night. We can also offer you a very convenient transfer service to and from all the airports and stations of the city: at your request a professional driver will come to get you in a suit and tie with a sign to be recognized, and bring you directly to us.

Neighbourhood information

OTTO Rooms is located in Piazza Mazzini, the heart of Rome Prati district, an elegant central area, very quiet and tidy with little traffic and wide and spacious streets. We are within walking distance of the General Directorate of the RAI, the Teatro delle Vittorie, the RAI Radio studios, the Civil Court of Rome and the Court of Auditors. A little further away, about a kilometer away, there are: Castel Sant'Angelo, the Vatican Museums, the Olympic Stadium, the Foro Italico with the Tennis Open ... With a pleasant walk you can easily reach the most important sites of the historic city center: Piazza del Popolo, Piazza di Spagna, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain. The structure is very convenient to reach by underground (Lepanto Station on line A 6 minutes walk), and with the many public transports that allow you to reach the Historic Center in just 10-15 minutes. Around OTTO Rooms there is really everything you can need during your stay with us: bars, restaurants, pizzerias, banks, post offices, ATMs, taxi station, shops, boutiques, pharmacy ... All you need is found in our personalized App with maps and itineraries that we have created specifically.
