Enjoy a villa holiday in Veneto or a farmhouse holiday in the nature of the Veneto countryside, 40 minutes from Venice in the middle of the Euganean Hills National Park. breathless view , animals , nature and culture outside from the city traffic.

Time seems to have stood still at Arquà Petrarca, the centre of the Euganean hills that, more than any other, has maintained the old charm of the medieval hamlet. Its name probably comes from Arquata montium, meaning “ring of mountains”, but it owes its renown to the eternal fame of Francesco Petrarca, the poet who spent the last years of his life there.Arquà Petrarca has very ancient origins and there are archaeological finds that date back to the Bronze Age. Still today, the town preserves a medieval aspect, and it is set in a picturesque location on the slopes of Monte Ventolone and Monte Castello, within the Euganean Hills, Being it a small village, a complete tour of the main historical sites requires only a few hours.Agriculture is commonly practiced in Arquà: local produce includes olives, extra virgin olive oil, honey, chestnuts, and ziziphus
