Located in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, surrounded by the hills of Volterra and 750 hectares of private gardens and woods, Borgo Pignano Tuscany has an outdoor pool, a children’s club and a restaurant. Borgo Pignano's villa, restaurants, surrounding maisonnettes, cottages and gardens are operated with great passion and care whilst retaining in full the original philosophy. A philosophy of being in harmony with the environment. The products that we serve at our table come mostly from what we harvest on our Estate and the flowers we put in our bedrooms are grown in our gardens. Borgo Pignano is a haven for artists, cyclists, yoga enthusiasts as well as people engaging in today's version of the ‘grand tour' a tranquil getaway from busy hectic lives.

The medieval hilltowns in the vicinity of Borgo Pignano have churches and monuments of note and many have small museums and frescoed cloisters. There are thermal springs, Etruscan ruins and tombs, Renaissance palaces, museums and weekly markets. Borgo Pignano is a convenient spot from which to roam about Tuscany and is less than thirty minutes from the Medieval towns of Volterra and San Gimignano. It is also within an hour’s drive of Siena and Florence and the smaller towns of Casole d’Elsa, Colle val d’Elsa, Monteriggioni, Certaldo, and Bolgheri. Lucca, Arezzo and Pisa are also within driving distance as are the wine growing areas of Montepulciano, Montalcino, Castellina in Chianti, Radda and Giaole.
