At only 10 minutes drive from the medieval walls of Florence, surrounded by thick vegetation with tall cypresses, the village is characterized by a cluster of buildings that are typical of the rural Tuscan landscape. This settlement, dating back to the end of the 14th century, developed around a kiln (ancient factory for the production of refined Tuscan ceramics). The Borgo is comprised of an old mill, barn, wine-fermentation room, brick-kiln and a peasant’s house. It has a courtyard paved in stone surrounded by a porch and other buildings. It adjoins the proprietor’s Villa with a little chapel decorated with 17th century frescoes and the former lemon-house overlooking a hanging garden. Today the entire premises have been transformed into cozy homes, without modifying the original architecture. CANCELLATION IS NON REFUNDABLE BUT CAN BE POSTPONED TILL ANOTHER DATE IN THE SAME/FOLLOWING YEAR.
