After many successful years hosting our small adjacent apt and following our life changing decision of moving to a new country, we have finally decided to make our family home available for renting. This house is a piece of our history and with excitement we want to share it with fellow world travellers and wanderers. Set on three floors surrounded by a lavish garden and with amazing mountain and lake views you will never want to leave it.
I am 47 yrs old. Wife and working-mother. 24 hours are never enough but I try anyway everyday to engage myself fully into the many roles I have taken in my life span so far. Being a booking host is one of them! I would like to provide a homey and cozy accommodation for all. A house to call your home abroad. To relax, be yourself and wind-down. I like to travel to provide my kids with the idea that the world is theirs to discover. To teach them tolerance and break down prejudice. My motto : "knowledge can save. Love will heal". We don't live in Luino permanently anymore but I am always available via chat or phone call. Problems? I have trusted family members and co-host on site.
The house is set in a residential neighborhood surrounded by other family-owned private villas. We have a small local corner store for last minute shopping across the street while for bigger supermarkets (Auchan, Coop, LIDL) you need to drive out. To reach the house you must drive along a small, uphill private road. Please be noted: driving out you normally go reverse. You may park inside the spacious garage or just in front of it. We have a bus stop in front of the house for local travel. Luino is roughly 1.5 km away and 15 minutes downhill walk. For return up to the house please calculate a bit more especially if walking with children. Swiss border is 2 km away.
