Seaside Cottages are located by the south coast in Iceland, in one of the oldest village in Iceland, Eyrarbakki only 40 min drive from the capital Reykjavík. They are well-equipped and welcoming cottages with beautiful furnishing. The property is located just a few steps away from the magnificent Atlantic ocean. Outside is an open garden with a private patio, garden furniture and a gas BBQ. From where the garden ends you only have a few steps to the magnificent Atlantic ocean. Good views and peaceful location. A short drive of around 40 minutes from your Seaside cottage will bring you to the major tourist attractions in South Iceland. At the end of the day, return to this welcoming cozy Seaside cottage and relax. Grocery store and restaurant are in the village. Local supermarkets and shops in Selfoss within 15 minutes drive. Swimming pool in Stokkseyri within 5 minutes drive. Seaside cottages are ideal for families and friends who wish to enjoy this beautiful part of Iceland at any time of the year.

Eyrarbakki is an old friendly fishing village. A large number of preserved houses from the period 1890 are situated in Eyrarbakki and therefore a visit is like reveriting a 100 years back in time. ,,The House‘‘ Folk Museum is popular tourist attractions is located in Eyrarbakki, it was built in 1765. A fine campsite, horse rental and restaurant, are also in Eyrarbakki. On the rocky shoreline you can witness an amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean, as well as watching the surf break. It is an ideal spot for hiking and bird watching as well as Northern lights. The Flói Bird Reserve lies northwest of Eyrabakki. It is an important nesting area, especially for wetland birds and is listed in The Bird Life International Association. Welcome to Seaside Cottages and discover the peace and quiet.
