Hlíð Ferðaþjónusta is a complex of accommodation on the northern shore of lake Mývatn, right beneath the airport. We are situated about one kilometer away from the lakeside, in the middle of a 300 years old lava field and with a fantastic view over the lake. We offer: 🚍campground. The electricity is accessible and warm showers are free of charge for guests. 🛏 sleeping bag accommodation or Family Rooms with bedlinen included in our Hostel, 🥞 Bed&Breakfast option, 🏠 fully equipped summerhouses with a wonderful view over the lava field. You can rent bikes for either one day or ½ a day. Maps with hiking and bike routes are available from our service center. A wonderfully scenic 37 km long country road runs around the lake, ideal for biking. You can book a riding tour on an Icelandic horse with us and we will take you through the stunning surroundings of lake Mývatn, ranging from one and up to several hours.

Cosy cabins with a stunning view over 300 years old lava field and Myvatn Lake. Mini Cottage for two is a 9m2 cabin which consists on sleeping area with two beds inside. Mini Cottage for four is a 14m2 cabin which consists on sleeping area with two single beds and one bunk bed inside. All of the facilities (toilets, showers, kitchen) are situated around our campsite. All of those are around 100-300 m away from your hut. You have the bedlinen set included: pillow and duvet with case, sheet and a towel.
