A well-furnished and cosy private cottage at the farm, just a little way away from the farmer’s house. The three-bedroom cottage suits five people, and there’s a sofa bed in the sitting room that two can share. A cot and ahigh chair for the babies are available free of charge. The kitchen is well equipped. There are two bathrooms in the cottage, in one of it is a shower. The living room has a TV and DVD player, and the large porch has a BBQ and a hot tub.

I love nature. The beautiful nature of our country. Especially the geology and bird watching. I like reading good books and of course welcoming my guests.

On spring and summer days it´s possible to watch birds just from here. As well as the Northern lights if we are lucky with weather conditions. Our wonderful and warm geothermal swimming-pool is just 2km (1,miles) away from us. The beautiful Christmas garden is close to the swimming pool. Amazing and exiting place to visit all year around. 30 km to south one can find a museum of knickknacks is just interesting to go to. Golf- courses is possible to find at Þverá (6km/6,7mi). Another one in Akureyri, Jaðarvöllur, (15km/9mil). There is a skislobe above the nearest town, Akureyri which is the capital of the North of Iceland and a center for trade, fisheries, education, culture, and administration. During the dark winterdays, it´s possible to see the norther lights just outside, of course, only when they can been seen.
