Five bedroom country house in Ramelton/Letterkenny which sleeps 8 people . We have got Stunning Views of Lough Swilly you’ll not be disappointed. Take a step back in time and relax in our warm cosy house to take a peaceful break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It is a private peaceful country house in an equally tranquil setting. A two minute drive takes you to the shingle beach. It is also a great family location for country walks, cycling or a five minute drive to the heritage town of Ramelton. Located near Rathmullan beach and Portsalon beach and approximately sixteen miles from Glenveigh castle.
I will give key on arrival.
The neighbourhood is quiet with a beautiful views of Lough Swilly. Letterkenny is only 7 miles away and we are also in close proximity to the Wild Atlantic Way explore Mulroy Drive or Atlantic Drive as well. Visit the stunning beaches at Downings, Rathmullan, Ballymastocker Strand and Dunfanaghy to name a few. There are stunning viewpoints at Grianan Ailigh, Burt or Manorcunningham View Manorcunningham. Glenveagh National Park is a must to visit with its beautiful gardens, walks and castle. There are loads of activities to do Golfing, Horse Riding, Angling, Walks, Surfing, Kayaking in our local towns not too far away. There are also The Donegal Boardwalk in Carrigart a beautiful walk near the beach to see or go to see the Glenevin Waterfall at Clonmany. There are a lot of good places locally to eat Logues of Cranford, Silver Tassie Hotel, Steve’s chip shop Ramelton, Castle Grove Country House, Ramelton or have a delicious ice cream at our local supermarket called Whoriskey’s in Ramelton. We also have a fresh fruit and vegetable stall which comes to the town weekly on a Thursday and the local town hall in Ramelton on a Saturday has a market it is on from 10.30 to 12.00. Local festival in Ramelton is on 4th July to 14 July 2025 and Clonmany festival is on from 3rd August to 10th August 2025. The area is a great place for a relaxing break. No parties of any description allowed at the property there will be no exceptions to this rule.
