Shearwater B & B sits on an elevated site overlooking Glandore Harbour, in the picturesque fishing village of Union Hall. The house was built in 1974, and has been extensively renovated over the years. The property provides panoramic views of the harbour and countryside. The patio offers an idea area to sit and watch the fishing boats returning in the evening, or walk down to the harbour to see the day's catch. Shearwater provides quiet areas in the garden should you just want to take in the sun or read a book. It is a easy 6 min walk to the village, on a level pavemented road, where there are 2 bisto pubs The Dock Wall and Dinty's providing excellent bar food including fresh fish, steaks and vegetarian menus. There is also a traditional pub providing good beer and conversation with the locals. The village also has supermarket, providing all essentials, wine, beer, bakery and a ATM.
