This is a brand new refurbished property. A lot of thought went into the design and decor of the building. Everything has been done high spec. There is a fridge in each room and also teas/coffees, new tvs and WI-FI. Our aim was to make it homely and comfortable and we hope we have succeeded. However, We have left a comment book in each room should our guests have any further suggestions.
This is a new, exciting venture and we hope to meet lots of different people from all corners of the world and introduce them to our lovely town of Templemore and all it has to offer.
Templemore is probably most well known for the Garda Training College which recruits hundreds of garda students each year. We also have a most beautiful park where you can sit in the quiet garden and reflect or feed the ducks and swans or simply take a stroll and enjoy the surroundings. Also in the park, there is a manicured pitch and putt course. Park run takes place in the park at 930 every Saturday morning, if running is one of your passions. The Devils Bit Mountain is a very short drive from Templemore where you can enjoy some spectacular views, you can see the River Shannon on a clear day. It’s a bird watchers paradise and hikers will be in heaven up there. There is also pony trekking through the leafy trails of the Bit which is very popular, but can be booked in advance, the views are to die for! Codladh sámh is literally a minutes walk from pubs, club, hotel and restaurants. There is also a train station if you decide retail therapy is what you want, head to Dublin or Cork in comfort. If anyone fancies a round of golf, we have a lucious green golf course near the Garda Trainng Centre. The famous Rock of Cashel is also only a half hour drive down the motorway.
