The Climbers Inn Glencar where walkers and climbers from around the world meet to enjoy traditional Irish hospitality. The Climbers Inn is currently under new management and has been extensively refurbished throughout. The Climbers Inn is situated in the Kerry mountain district and is located close to the upper Caragh River, Lough Acoose and the McGillycuddy Reeks and Carrauntouhil (Irelands highest mountain). So whether you love climbing, hill-walking, fishing, hunting or simply touring by car the climbers inn is the ideal base to do so. Enjoy the leisurely pace of life, that is rural Ireland at its best.
Surrounded by stunning scenery, the remote Climbers Inn is well located for walking the Kerry Way and exploring local hiking routes. Free WiFi is provided in the bar. We also have a hostel, camping facilities and a drying room.
