Welcome to our tranquil retreat in the heart of County Donegal. The bright, spacious (over 500 sq ft) and beautifully decorated one-double-bedroom apartment is ideal for unwinding in the peaceful countryside. The apartment is on the ground floor of the house and completely separate from our home above, with its own entrance. It consists of a large, fully equipped kitchen, a bright, comfortable living room with superb views over the forest to the sea, and a cosy double bedroom, also facing the sea and with an en-suite bathroom. Outside the kitchen is a south-facing patio which gets the best of the sun and is ideal for a relaxed meal at the cafe-style table, surrounded by planters full of seasonal flowers. Located ten minutes from the Wild Atlantic Way, and twenty from Letterkenny, our place is perfect for exploring the beaches of Fanad Head, the Glenveagh National Park and Mount Errigal. Come to surf, walk, climb, golf, swim, cycle, kayak, dive, fish… or simply to read, relax and re-energise.

I'm a writer, an academic and a vegan. I love sourdough baking and powerlifting. I have three dogs and a small, bossy cat, who keeps them in line.
