Set behind secure walls 100m from the beach in front of the famous Shipwreaks, surf break Ponder Cottage has large and comfortable lounge and dining areas, interior courtyard, tv/wifi/sound systems, a beautiful pool, outdoor garden room and a private entrance. Our four rooms each have king beds, good linen, on-suite bathrooms, hot water, air con, fans and safes. Our fifth room has a bunk bed, good linen, on-suite bathroom, hot water, air con, fan and safe. Lush gardens the Bale (our outdoor room) is equipped with its own kitchen, dining table for 10 and lounges for the Bale and pool. You can book the entire Villa and have exclusive access to all our facilities The grounds are big enough for functions. The island’s best bars and restos and boutiques are all around. Yoga Shalas and Dive Centres are close by. Our staff can assist you. Enjoy it all.
Your hosts first arrived in Nusa Lembongan in 1987 to surf the famed Shipwreaks and have been answering the call to return ever since. They acquired the cottage in 2007. It was the first house in our area - not much else but cows and chooks. Renovated with recycled materials its expansive, colourful and practical with just a splash of sophistication where it's least expected. Your hosts speak Bahasa and are part of the village community.
A visit to Lembongan has often been described as travelling back in time when Bali was truly the Island of the Gods The pace of life is slow and easy - Lembongan time. People who come for a day or two always leave regretting they did not stay longer. The stress of modern life disappears. You begin to rediscover an easier time. Outside our gate are world class surf breaks, unique marine life, long white beaches, mangroves, places to explore and glorious sunsets to enjoy. Ohanas and Ginger & Jamu are in our lane. Local and international bars and restos are walking distance away. You can enjoy live music on any night. Most tourist Restos have free customer transport. Bicycle, scooter and buggy hire close to our Cottage. Our main street and the beach are a 1 minute walk away.
