About the neighbourhood: My apartment is located in the beautiful 2nd district, just minutes from some of Budapest's top attractions and conveniently close to public transportation. We are 3 minutes' walk from Széll Kálmán tér, one of Budapest’s main transport hubs, with access to Metro line 2, Tram 4-6, and many buses, so you can easily reach any part of the city. The area is quiet and residential, yet close to everything you might need: Mammut Mall is just a 2-minute walk away, where you’ll find shops, cafes, and restaurants. Grocery stores like Spar, Lidl, Aldi, and the local piac (market) are all within walking distance, making it easy to stock up on essentials. Some of Budapest’s most famous landmarks are just a short trip away: Buda Castle, the Parliament, and the Danube River, the city center are all nearby. The beautiful Margaret Island is just a short tram ride away, perfect for a day of relaxation or a scenic walk. This neighborhood is a perfect blend of quiet residential charm and easy access to Budapest’s best sights and attractions.
