The location of our apartments is in a quiet area, just 5 minutes walking distance to the Old Town (Pile Gate). Our apartments are located in a 150 year old family residence, which is under UNESCO protection as local cultural heritage. Each of our 3 apartments offer to our guests a different accommodation experience: - a natural shady balcony with a sea side view overlooking the Old Town and the island of Lokrum or - shady terraces on the ground floor connected to a spacious garden that has a partial sea view, a view of the Old Town, and of the hill Srđ. Our apartments can accommodate up to 6 people at once all together. The residence is a vibrant combination of an old rural villa surrounded by spacious gardens and terraces with shady places where everyone can find their own peace and quiet... If you decide to relax in our spacious garden, you may encounter to 70 year old Pandora, our friendly pet tortoise or see our family cat walking around the property. In any way, we do hope you will enjoy your stay.
We are a family of friendly and hospitable hosts, experienced with private rentals, always there for our guests when they need us... whether to help with something or to provide them with some information. Every encounter with a new guest is an opportunity for us to exchange and learn new experiences, cultures and customs from all over the world. We strive to provide our guests with a memorable and a pleasant stay. In our house our family lives in a traditional and colorful Mediterranean way of life. We spend our free time in the garden, nature and at the beach. We love holidays, traveling and gastronomy.
Our neighborhood is located in a quiet, peaceful, friendly and safe surrounding within the walking distance of all important and most visited attractions in Dubrovnik (the Old Town, the cable car, restaurants, cafe bars, Airport Shuttle Bus Service, a bakery, grocery stores, shops, beaches, a hiking trail to hill Srđ...). We are within walking distance of the following locations / attractions: Above the Pile zone, a busy traffic center, there are 3 parallel parts of our City: Donji (Lower), Srednji (Middle), and Gornji (Upper) Kono. The word "Kono" comes from the Dubrovnik pronunciation (dialect) of the word "channel" through which water was brought to the City. In their honor, two city streets bear its name; Srednji and Gornji Kono Street. Today, the area of Kono, with its old stone houses and imposing gardens, is a favorite and picturesque promenade of Dubrovnik residents as well as curious tourists, which resembles of Dubrovnik as it once was. Our house is located in Srednji (Middle) Kono and also exudes the spirit of old Dubrovnik.
