Company information

Veneston Suites has been established in 2019 and has since offered high quality accommodation to over 300 guests. The place has been family-owned since the mid-18th century. It was an old mansion, with rooms that also functioned as a canvas and a warehouse. From the cavernous interior layout according to the classic cave style, to the shower located at the bottom of the old skylight that transported products and the old wood-fired oven that decorates a bedroom in Kapari, to the lina that once held oil and now exquisitely decorate the homonymous villa, all the old elements were preserved as much as possible. This gives an atmosphere of simple luxury, while at the same time it is a window into the past of the place and its people. The old building was split into two villas, next to each other, sharing the yard that was reconfigured to include a small pool.

Property information

Newly renovated traditional cave house with a modern touch, situated in Fira, and specifically in the calm Kondochori cultural neighborhood, only 5-minute walk from the center of the capital. Spacious and minimally designed, with traditional elements of Santorini style and architecture. Wide shared yard with a pool and various terraces and spots to relax and enjoy the view to the east and the sunrise. You have access to: -COCO-MAT sleep systems -free WiFi in all areas -kitchen with fridge, hob, kitchen equipment, microwave, boiler with tea equipment and a Nespresso machine -free toiletries and a hairdryer in each bathroom -LED Smart TV with Chromecast You will have the entire house to yourself, as well as a semi-private space reserved for you right outside the house for outdoor dining. Other areas, such as the pool and the terraces are shared. There is another outdoor dining area in the exterior that is reserved for guests of Lina, the other villa in Veneston. There are 2 houses in total, including Kapari, sharing the common areas. The property is very spacious however, with various spots to enjoy the outdoors and the view.

Neighbourhood information

Walking distance (5-10min) is the caldera, various cafes, restaurants, markets and activities. Many churches and other cultural landmarks, including the Folklore Museum. The property is about 10 minutes from public transportation hub. Also 3-5 minutes from the main road, where you can park your vehicle or call a taxi.
