The location was so lovely. A short walk into the centre but so quiet. The garden at the property is lovely. There are steps up but there is a handrail to help. The room had a large shower room with a large walk-in shower that was very hot.

The property is part of a Victorian Terrace built in the 1860s. It stands overlooking the Kinnessburn which flows along the bottom of the garden and down to St.Andrews Harbour. The house has many original features such as shuttering and interesting coving work. I was born in the house, so it has been my home since then. In 2010 I decided to open my own business and have been welcoming guests ever since.
My work history has been in hotel management and I decided to do something for myself for a change! I went back to college for a couple of years and did some textile art which I enjoy very much but am limited for space. I use some of my own designs on fabrics and have a selection of cards available for sale featuring some of my designs.
We are very fortunate to have many beautiful beaches close by. St.Andrews east sands and St.Andrews west sands, where the film Chariots of Fire was filmed. Slightly further out of town are Kinshaldy beach with an amazing seal colony and Kinsbarns beach which has stunning scenery and has to be my favourite. There are also some lovely walks in town, round the castle and cathedral grounds as well as inland parkland walks at Craigtoun Park which also has a boating pond and various childrens activities as well as a miniature train ride. The botanic garden is well worth a visit along with it's butterfly house. It also host some outdoor concerts and performances during the summer months.
