    We had a delightful break at the Old Rectory. The room was very clean and comfortable with lots of thoughtful extras. The hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was exceptional.

    The proprietors were extremely helpful and on hand if you needed anything. Lovely home made cakes and drinks on arrival and the perfect poached eggs for breakfast (amongst other food). A lovely guesthouse with stunning views and a lovely location.

    Old charm House, very Cumbria feel and great views, with a good walk to a near bye pub. Ann was very helpful and the extra tea/coffee with home mad cakes was a very good welcome.
