The Old Cart House is a detached barn conversion in Nantmawr near Trefonen in Shropshire. Hosting two bedrooms: a king-size and a twin, along with a bathroom with bath and shower over, basin and WC and a ground-floor shower room, this property can sleep up to four people. An open-plan living space contains the kitchen, dining area and sitting area with underfloor heating, and outside you have the benefit of large enclosed lawns with furniture and a barbecue, as well as ample off-road parking. The Old Cart House provides excellent holiday accommodation for exploring the Shropshire countryside. NOTE: a hot tub can be hired, directly with the owner.

Neighbourhood information

Trefonen is a small village, located around 3 miles south-west of Oswestry, in Shropshire, with the name translating to 'village of the ash trees'. Offa's Dyke, the 8th century earthwork ran through the village and can still be seen today in small sections, with Offa's Dyke Path providing an excellent walking path and a great way to explore the area. Home to a few shops and a pub, this village can provide the essentials for your stay.
