Company information

Myself and my husband Ben, have two wonderful, cheeky, little children together. As a family we love to explore as much as we can, we enjoy travelling, and have enjoyed the hospitality provided by other hosts, as well as exploring the countryside in our campervan. We are both originally from the Isle of Wight, and spend a lot of time visiting family in the area. Although we now live in Brighton, UK, we are always happy to recommend places to eat and to explore both in Cowes and further afield. Having grown up in the area, we have lots of local knowledge! We have tried to ensure that The Nautilus is both a beautiful and comfortable space, we hope you enjoy your stay in Cowes.

Property information

The Nautilus is a two bedroom bungalow which has been newly renovated. Sympathetically decorated with industrial style pieces, the design of the property was inspired by the Jules Verne Novels, '20000 Leagues Under the Sea' and 'Five Weeks in a Balloon'. The property is perfect for both families and couples. The town of Cowes is on the doorstep, and a private garden provides the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the Isle of Wight.

Neighbourhood information

The Nautilus is situated in the heart of the vibrant yachting town of Cowes, known for its sailing events throughout the year, including the world famous 'Cowes Week' in August. It is home to sailing legend Dame Ellen MacArthur and also a few other famous faces you may spot during you stay! Should you wish to eat at one of the many restaurants and cafes, browse the boutiques, people watch with a coffee, take a walk on the beach or an evening out in the pubs, Cowes has something for everybody. A car is not essential for this property but will allow you to explore the wider area. Alternatively, the main bus stop with services out of town is just a few minutes away.
