It was easy to find as we arrived in the middle of the night. A fantastic charming cottage with beautiful surroundings. Everything needed for cooking was available in the kitchen and enough towels and soap in the bathroom.

The pictures do not do this property justice! It was like stepping back in time, absolutely stunning and so dog friendly. Lots of lovely walks right on the doorstep and the hot tub and open fire were such a bonus. We're already looking forward to...

The property was a beautiful old cottage with a lovely fireplace and loved the bedrooms. The only think letting it down was the very uncomfortable ladder you had to climb to get to the upstairs room. Also not ideal for children

The Cartshed is located on a very quiet, no-through road in the beautiful village of Osmington in Dorset. It has accommodation for 6 people across three bedrooms (two double rooms and one twin room with bunk beds). There is a family bathroom with a bath and shower, a fully equipped kitchen (gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, iron and ironing board), and a comfortable sitting room with a large open fire, sky TV, DVD and CD player, books and games. A cot and high chair is also provided. There is off-road parking for two cars at the front of the property, and for one car to the rear of the property. The front garden is enclosed with a stone wall and gate, and has a pond and stream (both guarded), and a swing set. The back garden is enclosed by hedges and has a patio area with a barbeque, a hot tub, and a lawn area with a clothes line. The cottage has been converted from an old barn and has retained a sense of history and character with its stone walls, exposed timber beams and flagstone floors. Well-behaved pets are welcome, and guests can borrow a dog from Eweleaze Farm. Please note that unless specified, we will make up the double in the main bedroom.
